    Calspan takes great pride in our ability to attract, recruit, and develop extraordinary talent. We are currently looking for exceptional students to fill our 2019 Summer Internship Program. Calspan’s interns will contribute to exciting projects in both the aerospace and automotive industries and have the opportunity to participate in professional development sessions led by subject matter industry leaders.


    Calspan’s Subsonic, Transonic Wind Tunnel, is the only independently owned and operated wind tunnel in the United States. Our staff is known for its flexibility and responsiveness to our customer’s needs. Customers appreciate this approach, as it enables them in real time, to refine test programs. We are looking for a motivated Electrical Engineering student to be part of our team.


    • Assist our Electrical and Software Engineers with programming, system integration, data analysis, and tool development
    • Verify and update the accuracy of electrical drawings
    • Contribute to the electrical drawing organization project


    Due to security requirements, candidates must have US Citizenship


    Preferred Education / Experience:

    • Must be currently enrolled in a Electrical Engineering program at accredited college or university
    • Must have completed (3) years of undergraduate studies by May 2019 (students graduating in May 2019 or graduate students will not be considered)

    Preferred Knowledge / Ability: 

    • Programming in C, Python or Matlab
    • Creating/reading electrical drawings
    • Experience with Soldering
    • Understanding basic electronics
    • Must be motivated and have a strong desire to learn
    • Proficient with MS Office
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work in team environment
