Calspan ASE takes great pride in our ability to attract, recruit, and develop extraordinary talent. We are currently looking for exceptional students to fill our 2022 Summer Internship Program. Calspan’s interns will contribute to exciting projects in both the aerospace and automotive industries and have the opportunity to participate in professional development sessions led by subject matter industry leaders. We are looking for a motivated student to join our team as a Aerodynamic Engineering Intern!

Responsibilities

This position will be located in Plymouth, Minnesota.

  • Assist in maintaining and organizing facility records, configuration control, and air system tag ID’s
  • Assist with control of legacy Drawings and Test Reports
  • Assist with facility parts inventory, control, and organization of various storage areas.
  • Assist Test Engineers in conducting exhaust nozzle test programs
  • Assist with instrument calibrations and checking instrumentation labeling and identification
  • Run standard data reduction computer programs. Process computer-generated data sheets (file computer outputs, maintain neat and accurate data books).
  • Prepare technical report figures
  • Possibly assist with test rig operation
Job duties will vary depending on customer projects active during the internship

Qualifications

Preferred Education / Experience:

  • Must be currently enrolled in a Aerodynamic Engineering program at accredited college or university
  • Must have completed (2) years of undergraduate studies by May 2022 (students graduating in May 2022 or graduate students will not be considered)
