We are seeking a versatile Sub-Contracts Manager to join our team at our St. Paul location. Hybrid Work Schedule!

• Responsible for identification, qualification, selection and management of subcontracted suppliers for project deliverables; including international and domestic US construction suppliers, architectural and engineering services, heavy industrial fabrication, pressure vessels, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Develop and initiate Request for Quotations (RFQ’s). Evaluate quotations, negotiate price, terms and delivery schedules. Select qualified suppliers by using best sourcing practices.
• Draft, negotiate and execute complex contracts.  Execute contract agreements such as purchase orders, statements of work, letters of Intent and non-disclosure agreements
• Perform supplier surveillance to ensure supplier complies with all work scope, schedule, budget and quality commitments. Works with project team to mitigate cost, schedule and technical risks or non-conformances.
• Establish and maintain a domestic and international strategic supplier base for sourcing long term projects.
• Collaborates with engineering to construct contractual technical documentation, specifications and drawings.  

Preferred Education / Experience:

• Bachelors’ degree in related discipline
• Experience in related experience or;
• A combination of education and experience equivalent to above
• Valid driver’s license
• Valid US Passport

Preferred Knowledge / Ability:

• Ability to travel internationally and domestically 30% of the time
• Knowledge of construction contracting and management; General Contractors, A&E firms, construction services; domestic and international experience preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of procurement, contracts and negotiation skills.
• Creates a collaborative environment with suppliers, contractors and cross-functional peers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret common technical information and drawings.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications and ERP software.
