Calspan’s interns will contribute to exciting projects in both the aerospace and automotive industries and have the opportunity to participate in professional development sessions led by subject matter industry leaders. We are looking for a motivated student to join our team as a Electrical Engineering Intern!


The Electrical Engineering Intern will assist Flight’s Electrical Engineering staff with a variety of tasks including;

  • Drafting of technical documents
  • Supporting the execution of aircraft systems testing operations
  • Updating red lined engineering drawings
  • Assisting in electronic parts research and procurement
  • Bench testing of prototype circuits


Preferred Education / Experience:

  • Must be currently enrolled in a Electrical Engineering program at accredited college or university
  • Must have completed (3) years of undergraduate studies by May 2023 (students graduating in May 2023 or graduate students will not be considered)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic analog and digital circuit analysis
  • Circuit design and simulation in SPICE
  • Top level understanding of power distribution design and functionality
  • Experience using AutoCAD LT & Microsoft Office
