In the area of turbomachinery, Calspan’s team continues a 20-year tradition of setting industry standards for quality with the design and manufacture of turbomachinery test articles and equipment. In addition, Calspan performs precise propulsion testing for a variety of jet engines with several optical measurements available.

 

We are looking for an Aftermarket Technical Sales Specialist to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

  • Provide customers with proposals and quotations for upgrades and requested parts and/or services and close orders in line with annual goals.
  • Determine proper replacement parts for obsolete equipment and research legacy systems and equipment to support long-term customers.
  • Set up, track and report service job labor for key global accounts
  • Develop and discuss practical options and solutions with customers regarding service, maintenance, and calibration.

Qualifications

Preferred Education / Experience:

  • Associates degree in related discipline
  • 3+ years of experience in technical sales or service
  • A combination of education and experience equivalent to above

 

 

Preferred Knowledge / Ability:

  • Strong background in aftermarket sales, service or operations
  • Ability to turn after service opportunities into orders.
  • Outstanding customer service and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to quickly develop rapport with current and prospective clients
  • Motivated self- starter with the ability to work well in a team setting
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to quickly adapt and change priorities while professionally managing interruptions
  • Must be organized and meet assigned deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
