Calspan Test Services, Transonic Wind Tunnel, is the only independently owned and operated wind tunnel in the United States. Our staff is known for its flexibility and responsiveness to our customer’s needs. Customers appreciate this approach, as it enables them in real time, to refine test programs. We are looking for a motivated Technician that will support testing and engineering including operating and maintaining of test equipment for the Transonic Wind Tunnel Department located in Buffalo, New York.  

4 (10) hour shifts - Monday - Thurs! Shift Differential Pay!

To conform to U.S. export control regulations, applicant should be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government. 

Preferred Education / Experience:

• AAS Mechanical Engineering Technology or similar in related discipline
• 3+ years in related discipline or;
• A combination of education and experience equivalent to above

Preferred Knowledge / Ability:

• Troubleshooting mechanical or electrical problems.
• Electrical and electronic principles.
• Perform operations and execute test procedures for engineering, scientific, or real-time data acquisition.
• Read and interpret engineering plans and specifications.
• Testing and inspection principles and procedures.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
