Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities Listed Below – Compensation and position level commensurate with education and experience.

 

Provide leadership, training, direction, and guidance to warehouse and assembly teams to ensure timely execution of all production deliverables while maintaining product quality.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and assign mechanical and electrical production resources to meet project demands and schedules. Ensure assemblies are completed accurately and on time, the quality of work meets company standards, equipment and tooling is maintained, issues are communicated and resolved, and all safety protocols are being followed.   
  • Manage in alignment with our Company Values. Lead with the intent to create a respectful and healthy work culture that embraces inclusion. Create awareness in others of their abilities; involve others and share authority in planning and decision-making; challenge the Team and provide support by allowing them to take appropriate risks. Create an environment in which others feel ownership for results and feel comfortable taking action to achieve desired results. Provide timely, constructive feedback regarding performance with a commitment to motivate, train, and develop. Manage administrative responsibilities and assume full responsibility for accomplishments of department functions.  
  • Drive productivity improvement activities that align with the business value drivers. Contribute to work forecasting and recommend project or group staffing adjustments to maintain project milestone commitments. Interview and train new staff when needed. Provide timely, constructive feedback regarding performance with a commitment to motivate, train, and develop.  
  • Direct all receiving, shipping, and warehouse activities to ensure that all parts are moving without interruption. Coordinate with Procurement and Planning to ensure inventory and floor stock levels are sufficient to meet production plan.  

Qualifications

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in relevant field of study
  • 3+ years Management experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment involving planning, procurement, and assembly operations.
  • Experience with mechanical and electrical assembly troubleshooting and process improvement; or a combination of education and experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Projects, or similar preferred

 

Preferred Knowledge / Ability:

  • Ability to provide clear direction and oversight to personnel with varied skills and functions
  • Ability to drive performance, delegate assignments, and create a culture of accountability
  • Strong communication, organizational, time management, and basic mathematical skills
  • Proficient with reading mechanical and electrical drawings
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to work well in a team setting
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to quickly adapt and change priorities while professionally managing interruptions
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • To conform to U.S. export control regulations, applicant should be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government
