We deliver highly engineered facilities, electro-mechanical systems, and software specifically designed for jet engine testing.  These solutions are used by airlines, OEMs, and MRO businesses to ensure the global fleet of jet engines tested daily are safe to fly.

 

We are seeking a Strategic Account Manager to manage the overall relationship with existing key customers, ensuring customer satisfaction while generating new business and increasing the account's profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively communicate with assigned key account, sales staff, and management regarding new business and long-term planning. Proactively selling value, delivery, and product development.
  • Serve as a point of contact in support of all related major activities and analyses for the assigned key account. Responsible for extensive inside sales functions for key accounts, including analysis and research of historical trends, market trends, capacity, and competitive environment.
  • Develop new business and retain existing business with assigned customers by understanding needs and proposing solutions. Responsible for following defined processes, solution pricing, closing orders, and maintaining assigned customer relations.
  • Anticipate customer challenges and proactively manage internal resources to resolution/opportunity capture. Assist engineering in complying with customer requirements.

Qualifications

Preferred Education / Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, engineering, or related discipline
  • 11+ years of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing or similar industry or;
  • A combination of education and experience equivalent to above

 

Preferred Knowledge / Ability:

  • Communication and negotiation skills in an international environment with an aptitude for building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.
  • Capable of understanding customer needs and translating them into practical solutions.
  • Ability to work within a multi-cultural team based across the world.
  • Disciplined in time management and able to work under pressure without supervision.
  • Strong client-facing skills, with demonstrated success managing client expectations and successfully fulfilling project requirements on time and on budget.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills coupled with a proactive planned approach, delivering success in a cross-function team environment.
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office applications.

The salary range provided is a general guideline. Actual pay will depend on several factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and other applicable qualifications.  Calspan is committed to pay transparency in compliance with applicable state and local laws.

 

All candidates must be eligible to work in the United States.

USD $125,000.00/Yr.

USD $165,000.00/Yr.
